Adele - če ne bi shujšala, bi bila v rizični skupini za koronavirus

Britanska pevka Adele je shujšala za kar 45 kilogramov in povsem spremenila svoj videz. Njen nekdanji trener pravi, da ni bil namen, da bi postala suhica … Zdravnik pa dodaja, da bi bila prej v rizični skupini za koronavirus …

Ko so se na spletu pojavile fotografije povsem spremenjene pevke Adele (32), ki je bila vedno bolj okrogle postave, so se usuli tudi različni komentarji. Nekateri so njeno vitko postavo hvalili, drugim pa ni bila pretirano všeč. Oglasil se je tudi njen nekdanji trener Pete Geracimo.

As Adele’s former London-based personal trainer, it’s disheartening to read negative commentary and fat-phobic accusations questioning the genuineness of her amazing weight loss. In my personal experience of working with her through many highs and lows, she always marched to the beat of her own drum on her own terms. She never undermined her God-given talent in any way. She let her incredible voice do the talking, or should I say singing! She never once pretended to be something that she wasn’t. What you saw was what you got. And we all LOVED it! When Adele and I started our journey together, it was never about getting super skinny. It was about getting her healthy. Especially post pregnancy and post surgery. When 25 dropped and the tour announced, we had to get ready for a 13 month gruelling schedule. In that time, she warmed to training and made better food choices. As a result, she lost considerable weight and people took notice. Her body transformation was splashed across every media outlet. The attention it generated was mind-blowing. Since she moved to LA, it’s been well documented that she underwent some tough personal changes. It’s only natural that with change comes a new sense of self and wanting to be your best possible version. She embraced better eating habits and committed to her fitness and “is sweating”! I could not be prouder or happier for her! This metamorphosis is not for album sales, publicity or to be a role model. She is doing it for herself and for Angelo. My hope is that people appreciate the hard work that Adele has done to improve herself for the benefit to her and her family only. She did not lose the weight to make others feel bad about themselves. This personal transformation has nothing to do with me or you. It’s about Adele and how she wants to live her life. She has not changed from the Adele we grew up with and have loved. »Nikakor ni bil namen, da bi Adele postala suhica. Ni shujšala zato, da bi se drugi bolje počutili. Ta njena osebna transformacija nima nikakršne povezave niti z mano niti s komerkoli drugim,« je Pete zapisal na družbenem omrežju in dodal, da je ogabno prebirati negativne komentarje o Adele.

»Moje osebne izkušnje s treningi z Adele so pozitivne, čeprav sva imela veliko vzponov in padcev. Ko sva ponovno začela trenirati, ni bil načrt, da bi postala suhica, pomembno je bilo predvsem njeno zdravje. In povem vam, ni ji bilo lahko, predvsem zaradi vsega, kar se je dogajalo v njenem zasebnem življenju.«

Vse, kar je pevka naredila v zadnjem času, je naredila zase in za svojega sina Angela (7). »Odločila se je postati boljša oseba in seveda predvsem bolj zdrava. Adele želi le živeti svoje življenje. Drastično pa je začela hujšati po tem, ko se je ločila od poslovneža Simona Koneckega (46),« je še dopisal trener.

»Adele je shujšala na zelo razumen način. In če tega ne bi storila, bi bila zdaj v rizični skupini za koronavirus. Ni se držala kakšne nore diete, temveč je spremenila način življenja,« je dejal britanski zdravnik Hilary Jones (66) in dodal, da imajo ljudje s prekomerno težo 40 % več možnosti, da zbolijo za koronavirusom.

»Vemo, da debelost v telesu povzroča vnetje, ki ga ni mogoče videti. Povezana je tudi z diabetesom, visokim krvnim pritiskom in srčnimi boleznimi. Vse to povečuje možnost, da človek zboli za koronavirusom. In zdaj je torej pravi čas, da se ljudje začnejo več gibati in nekaj naredijo zase in za svoje zdravje,« še dodaja zdravnik.
